Broken Picture Telephone is where people either try and describe the picture put in front of them or try and draw the description. (Did that make sense? If not, the site does a much better job than I just did). The results are hilarious. A great time-waster and don’t worry if you’re like me and can’t draw – you can elect only to draw or only to describe!

An article from 1995 saying the Internet is much ado about nothing.

We’re promised instant catalog shopping–just point and click for great deals. We’ll order airline tickets over the network, make restaurant reservations and negotiate sales contracts. Stores will become obselete. So how come my local mall does more business in an afternoon than the entire Internet handles in a month? Even if there were a trustworthy way to send money over the Internet–which there isn’t–the network is missing a most essential ingredient of capitalism: salespeople.
